Accidents at the club

26 Jul 2018

Hopefully these won't happen, but occasionally they do.

When we had our recent Clubmark inspection it was noted that there was nothing added to our accident book for the past few years. Can we therefore please remind all members of the club, but especially captains and coaches that all accidents do need to be recorded. It doesn't need to be a hospital incident - all accidents should be recorded please. What may initially seem fairly minor could later develop in to something more serious and we do need to have a record.

The accident book is behind the bar in the drawers on the right side. Please ask a member of the bar staff and they will help. If it is one of the few occasions when the bar is shut, please report to the Child Welfare Officer Denise Broom either in person or through the link on our website. Full instructions as to actions to  take are in the accident book.

We have a number of qualified first aiders at the club so always ask if you need assistance. First aid boxes are in the kitchen, changing room, outside changing rooms and behind the bar. If you use items and note the contents are low please contact Denise Broom or Louise Hobday.

Many thanks.
