Match report Friendly match versus Pinner, who played well above their Division 5 status. Captain Shivam, Imaad and Tom H were rested for this match.

Stand-in captain Saavan won the toss and elected to bat. He opened with Sanka, and the pair put on an impressive 50 partnership. After they retired for 25 and 26, Aryan with 23 helped push the score up to 105 off 20 overs. The score could have been higher with better calling and running between wickets, with several singles and second runs going begging.

The Pinner innings featured Danesh opening the bowling with Thomas, taking a wicket in his first over. Divyam was very unlucky with his left-arm spin bowling, narrowly missing the stumps on several occasions. Ramith and Nevan threatened with a good partnership, but very part-time bowler Nikhil made the breakthrough, finishing on 3 for 12. Pinner finished their innings on 86.

Saavan led by example with two superb catches, and set his field very well. Special mention for Sanka, who kept wicket for the first time, doing extremely well, letting very little past him.
