Match report The 2s came away from Stanmore with a hard-earned point but after an excellent fielding and bowling display probably felt they should have come away with more. Stan were restricted to 179-9 off 52, Chid and Gav kept things quiet early on with the new ball, new lad Sohill Pandya was then introduced making his 2s league debut for the club and looks like an awesome addition taking 3-60 in his 17 over spell of left arm spin, however it was James Baillie who stole the headlines with ball as he took 5-22 off 6 and seemingly put the 2s in the driving seat.

Stanmore's openers had other idea's as Eastcote were soon 13-3 after a lively opening spell by Kokhani which also saw Baillie take a nasty blow through the grill retiring him hurt. Costard then joined Danny Millward (15) as the score ticked along nicely but with the dismissal of Millward then Johnny Ray either side of drinks saw Eastcote looking down the barrel but to impress further after his bowling display Sohill supported Costard as the pair put on a stand of 44, as the scoreboard creeped towards the winning draw target Costard (46) unfortunately chopped on with 8 overs left and with Sohill's innings of 31 coming to an end 4 overs later it was Gav Singh supported by Avi Singh who ensured the 2's come away with a point.
