Work started today on a complete refurbishment of the Gent's toilets. They have been completely gutted today and work will take 3 - 4 weeks to complete. I think most men at the club will agree this work was overdue.
The work has deliberately been planned for now which is one of our quietist periods at the club but of course it will cause some inconvenience whilst it is being completed. When only a few members are at the club the Ladies toilets will be used as unisex. However when there are more people at the club including functions and our bowls evenings, the toilets in the outside changing rooms will be opened by the bar staff and the back kitchen door also opened to make easy access.
Apologies for the inconvenience whilst this work is completed, but it will be worth it.
