MDL team wins prestigous Rakesh Sethi trophy whilst U19 team wins County Finals

Congratulations to both our MDL team as they won the prestigous Rakesh Sethi Trophy on Sunday 6th September against the Harrow Hurricanes and our U19 team as they won their age group County Final on Sunday 13th September against Ealing .

The Middlesex Development League (The MDL) aims to inspire young people to play the game competitively, and in the Spirit of Cricket.

The MDL was setup by Middlesex Cricket in 2012 to respond to the needs of clubs in relation to the development of younger players; providing a longer format than age group cricket to express their abilities, and to integrate more effectively into open age cricket. This is the first time that Eastcote CC has won this tournament.

Dates for your diary

04 Mar 2020

Our Funday is Friday 8th May (yes that is a bank holiday!) and is our main social and fund-raising event of the year. We would like to get as many members - players, social and colts' parents involved as possible. Louise will therefore be holding a meeting at the club on Monday 16th March at 7.30pm. We want any ideas for stalls or anything that could make the day a success. Come along and have a chat - there will be no pressure applied! - Just come and give your ideas.

Saturday March 21st - Afternoon Tea - for all the family.  £10 per person. This includes a sandwich, cake, scone with jam and cream and a glass of fizz! Bargain!! Please email Louise if you would like to join in  -   thehobnobs@hotmail.com

We also have a charity football match on Saturday March 14th. A mixed team from Eastcote Cricket Club (young and old) will take on a local team, Ruislip Rascals! The game is at Haydon School and starts at 1.15.

Following the game both teams will return to the club to watch the England v Italy rugby match. Food will be available. All proceeds will be donated to London Air Ambulance. Come and show your support to what should be a great afternoon.

Our annual Cricketforce day is Sunday 29th March – this is the day each year that ALL members pull together to get the clubhouse and ground ready for the season. A good spring clean, lick of paint, tidying the grounds – there’s a job for everyone!  Put the date in your diary. Come and help for however long you can. 10am – 3pm. Refreshments provided.

And we are only 4 replies on our survey from hitting the magical 100 replies. Please help us to get to this number by clicking on the link. Survey closes Friday night.
