JUNIORS CRICKET
We are very proud of our Juniors section, which caters for girls and boys from the age of 5 to 17. We have around 360 juniors and a very long waiting list to join.
Our main Juniors coaching evenings are; Wednesday night for the age group squads, ranging from U10 to U15 with the older Juniors (U17) training with the Adult teams, and Friday night which is our development night, with 200 or more Juniors taking part. One of our great achievements within the Juniors' section is the fact that all of our Wednesday and Friday night groups are lead by club members who are either ECB level One, Two or Three qualified coaches. They provide expert coaching to the boys, backed up by numerous coaching assistants. All coaches, and assistants are CRB checked, and our Child Welfare Officer is available.
Matches for the U10s are played on Sunday mornings with the rest of the teams playing on various weekday evenings.
Over the years we have continually had Eastcote representation in various Borough, Regional and County Juniors' squads. We are extremely proud that many of our Juniors progress, some as young as 13, to our adult teams at the weekend.
Parents are encouraged to be a part of the club, by taking on family membership, which provides full social membership to them and their family for the year at a small additional cost, although they automatically become associate Members when their daughter or son joins the Juniors' section.
Our club is a family club, and that is evident on a Friday night after the Juniors coaching session, with our bbq, and Juniors’ corner, it is a great way to end your working week, and start the weekend.
