We have decided to reopen the club from this Friday 30th October. At present we will do this for a limited period to see if this is financially viable.
The club is in Tier 2 which means we have to follow all the government requirements. Some of these are highlighted below. We ask all our members to strictly follow these, as if they are not, both the club and the individuals can be fined up to £10,000.
- Inside you can only be with members of your household
- Outside groups must be no more than 6
- Table service only - no service at the bar
- You can only drink whilst seated
- A mask must be worn at all times other than when sitting at the table
- No mingling between tables
- Last orders will be called early so that the club can be fully closed by the closing time
The initial bar times have been set as:
Friday and Saturday = 5pm to 10pm (last orders 9pm)
Sunday = 3pm to 8pm
Monday thru to Thursday = 5pm to 8pm
We will keep the situation under review, but the bar staff have authority to immediately close the club if the rules are broken. Sorry, but these rules are set by the government and not us.
Annual General Meeting
This is traditionally held in December. Due to the regulations it will not be possible to hold this with members attending. It has therefore been designed to postpone this, probably until March but definitely before the start of the season. Further details will follow.
