Good morning everyone
Only a couple more weeks to go until our cricket season is over, last Saturday was our final league weekend, our 1st team won their match against Highgate and I am happy to report that meant they avoided relegation, our 2nd team are promoted, congratulations to James and the team, our 3rd team won their match, but unfortunately are relegated, as are our 4th team. The end of season party was well attended, thank you to Joe Daver for providing the bbq, and Krish for the music.
This week's diary is a short one,
Wednesday 6th September: Stage v Cross Arrows match at the club 11.30am
Saturday 9th September: TBC plus Junior girls section family day
Sunday 10th September: Sunday 1's v Rotten Livers and Sunday 2's v Northfields both matches start at 12 noon
Forthcoming events:
Saturday 23rd September: Macmillan Coffee Morning, come along and give your support, last year we raised over £200, hopefully with your support we can make a bit more this year
Saturday 28th October: Club Dinner Dance at Northwood Golf Club tickets are £40 (18 and over), £35 (under 18), there will be a list on the noticeboard in the foyer for you to add your name. Payment can be made online, please use your name and DD as reference or pay at the bar.
We have more events planned, Halloween party, Children's Christmas Party, so keep checking your club emails for further information. Don't forget that the club is open every day, and your support is greatly appreciated.
Just seen the weather report for this week, and it looks great, summer has finally arrived, I hope you all can enjoy some of it.
