I hope you are all well, this is just a short email to let you know our forthcoming events, and to let you know of our Christmas Toy donation appeal.
Firstly, a big thank you to Dave Bowers for a great Quiz Evening on Saturday 2nd of December, and thank to everyone who attended.
Our AGM is on Tuesday 12th December - 7.30pm
Sunday 17th December is our Children's Christmas Party 4pm to 6pm, games, gifts, prizes, party food, £10 per child, we already have a lot of young guests, and will be taking the list down on Tuesday 12th December.
Sunday 17th December Christmas Carols at 6.30pm, come and join us for an evening of Carol singing, mince pies, sausage rolls, and mulled wine, the music will be provided by Alina on guitar, Marli on clarinet or recorder, vocals by Sania,
Sunday 31st December to round off 2023 we are having a New Years Eve Party at the club, with a light buffet and music 7.30pm to 1am, come and join us to say farewell to 2023, and welcome in 2024. Tickets at £5 each should be pre-booked, please add your name to the list on the board in the club foyer, or let one of the social committee members know.
Christmas Present Donations: From tomorrow and until Friday 22nd December we will have a box in the foyer for any donations of toys and gifts for disadvantaged children and teenagers, if you are able to assist that would be great, wrapped gifts with a label on saying boy or girl and age would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Payment for either the Children's Christmas Party or New Years Eve Party can be made by bank transfer to the club account, or over the bar at the club. For payment by bank transfer add your name and either CCP or NYE as reference. If paying by bank transfer kindly let either myself, Lou, or Lisa know we will then add your name to the relevant list. If paying over the bar then kindly add your name to the relevant list at the same time.
