Hope everyone had a good weekend, this last weekend was one for the ladies to celebrate, International Women's Day on Friday and Mothers Day on Sunday. The coming week is a quiet one at the club, but the bar is still open every evening, and it would be great to see you. Here is what is happening, and an advance notice about our Race Night on the 23rd March.
Saturday 16th March: 10am to 1pm Play-Cricket Scoring App workshop
Saturday 16th March: 90th birthday party hire from 5pm
Please come and join us for the ECC Race Night on Saturday 23rd March, 8pm start - hosted by James Roan.
It is £5 entry on the night (please bring cash) and there will be prizes (Amazon vouchers) for the top 3 winners on the night!
There will also be food available on the night for an additional cost.
HOW IT WORKS -

For £5 entry fee, you will be given $1,000 (squirrel dollars) for the evening and a race card.

Pay in cash to James Roan on the night.

8 races in total (new DVD to last years race night!).

8 horses in each race – pre recorded from real horse racing events and will be shown on the projector!

James Roan will be acting as bookmaker and will take squirrel dollar bets before each race.

You will be given a betting slip for each bet placed.

Win only bets. No each-way bets!

Maximum bets of 2 horses per person, per race.

Bets placed for either $50, $100, $150, $200 or maximum $250 per horse.

James Roan will pay out winning bets after each race.

No rebuys – when your $1000 (squirrel dollars) are gone, you are out!

The person with the most squirrel dollars after the final race is the winner.

Prizes for top 3 – will be amazon vouchers and value depends on how many players.

(Top prize likely £75 amazon voucher if minimum 40 players).
