Cricket is the sport we all love to enjoy whether as a player or spectator, but every match needs umpires to oversee the action.
Our club has many adult and even more junior teams so we would like more umpires at various levels. Eastcote is delighted to recommend:
An Introduction to cricket umpiring
As the title suggests, this a basic course aimed at cricket fans interested in learning more about the vital role of an umpire for the first time. It will be presented by the Middlesex ACO Education Officer, Ned Wilsher.
We are planning to host this course in the clubhouse one evening in early May when the 2025 season really gets underway. It is important that we get an idea of numbers in terms of attendees, at no cost, as soon as possible.
