This Thursday we will be holding a taster session for this increasingly popular form of the sport. It is for the over 50s with no maximum age limit and for men and women. No previous experience of the game is required.
The session will last for about 1 ½ hours and include a session in the nets and a match. No equipment is required. A great chance to get some exercise and meet new friends. The session will be followed by tea and cake in the clubhouse. No booking required, just arrive by 2.00pm.
For our club Funday the tombola stall needs donations please of bottles, tins, toiletries, unwanted gifts (new only please). We will also be having a children's tombola and please donate any new gifts for this stall. Please bring to the club and there will be a box in the foyer for you to place the gifts. The tombola is always a popular stall and if each member donated just one item it will be a fantastic success. And of course, don’t forget to come on Sunday week from 12 – 4.00. And for the juniors, there will be a “soak the coach” stall. If your coach hasn’t volunteered for a turn in the stocks, then make sure he does!
A reminder that the raffle to win one of 3 new Toyota cars is still open. There are a total of 50 prizes including coaching with international players and signed shirts. ALL proceeds from the draw go directly to the club to help us to continue to develop.
