Match report Eastcote travelled to Richmond eager to avenge the home side for pipping them to the title last year - they did - fairly comprehensively at that. Sumit Anand held the Eastcote innings together with a flawless and classy 85. He didn't give one chance and never looked like getting out - until he played a reverse sweep. Rob Stone often looked like getting out however. It didn't stop him making a key 42 however. We finished up on 226 off 50, an intruiging run chanse was upon us. However in reality Eastcote never really let Richmond get close to winning with Mesam and Pepper coming to the fore. Both bowlers looked like taking wickets every ball and finished for 4 wickets a piece. Rob Stones run out to reduce the home side to 171 - 8 was the decisive moment and from then on we swept them aside with ease. A victory to saviour.
