Match report The 2's carried on their impressive run which has eased the relegation worries, 34 points from the last four games now means we need one point to guarantee survival and hopefully that will come at Harrow who will surely need to show more ambition than last week's negative display if they want to stay up.

Stanmore came into the game Saturday knowing 4 points or more would leap frog them above Eastcote but the inform two's had other ideas as the hosts were skittled for 203 in 48 overs with Pepper taking 4 wickets, Savage 3, Waddy and Stoney chipping in with 2 and 1 respectively. Eastcote knew that the 204 target would not be easy on a pitch that was deteriorating fast and resembled that of a day 5 sub-continent wicket. Rhino got the visitors off to flyer just falling short of his maiden ECC league fifty as he departed for 47 with the score on 61 but within the space of 3 overs 3 more wickets fell, the score now 66-4, Costard joined Stolle at the crease and the rebuilding process began as they shared a partnership of 80 before Costard (36) holed-out to long off with eastcote still needing 50-odd, Savage soon followed his team mate back to changing room with stanmore sniffing an opening, however Stolle was looking different gravy and Stoney (Gareth Bale) did not look like your average number 8. With the finishing line in sight and Stolle full of confidence he unfortunately walked past one on 75 but the game was up for Stanmore with Stoney 21* and Roanie seeing the boy's home.

If results go as the form table suggests ECC could find themselves 4th come this Saturday night. Fingers crossed we win the toss.
