Match report Uxbridge won the toss and elected to field, the square boundaries were very short and a large score was on the cards. Jolan and Atharva put on a 50 partnership in 5 overs and that set the tone for the innings. Atharva and Rishi then went into overdrive putting on a 120 run partnership in 9 overs with Atharva retiring having reached his maiden 100 scored off only 50 balls with 9 sixes and 7 fours. Rishi retired soon after scoring a blistering 57 off 28 balls, leaving Jamie and Arjun to have a late thrash. The score at 20 overs stood at 250 for 2, the highest that I have seen from an Eastcote side.

Uxbridge's Hamas took the fight on when they batted and scored a 50 but after he departed the rest of the batsman found scoring difficult and finished on 100 for 7 off their 20. We seem to have a new left arm spinner in Arjun who took 3 wickets without conceding a run.

The game took forever to finish, we eventually left at around 9.15pm which is too late and we must try and get through the overs a bit quicker. To be fair the delay was whilst we batted as a few balls were lost.
