Match report Rain was finally the winner as the game looked to be heading towards a thrilling finale. Eastcote had earlier recovered from 10-4 to a decent 129ao thanks mainly to Stoney's (49)and Sumit's(22) 5th wicket partnership, John Bowers also contributed with 20 setting last years champions 130 to win. Teddington made a positive start and at 68-1 it appeared a few early pints were on the cards, However a spirited Eastcote fightback quickly gave the hosts the upper hand as Teddington slumped to 91-7 thanks to the leg-spin duo of Pepper(4-23)and Avi(3-19). Both teams felt that 10 points were up for grabs but as the heavens opened both captains had no other option than to shake hands and call it a day.
