Match report The team travelled to the picturesque village of Bray in Berkshire for a 20 over friendly match against Maidenhead & Bray.

As we had 3 players running late, the opposition generously asked us to bat first. Danesh and Akshay batted really well in a 50 partnership; Danesh retiring on an excellent 32. The Eastcote innings then stuttered along, and it took a quick cameo from Tom and a superb 15 not out from Hollie, to push the score along to 111 for 8 off 20 overs.

Eastcote opened the bowling with Aqib and Luke, who were very accurate, conceding just 4 off the first 4 overs. Eastcote's fielding was brilliant throughout, the highlights being a superb direct hit from Tom from 30 yards and 3 absolutely outstanding catches from Saavan. Aqib took the first wicket and Shiv, Kishan and Shivam shared the rest, Kishan being the pick of the bowlers with an incredible 4 for 4. Maidenhead & Bray finished on 62 all out, 49 runs short.

Many thanks to Under 13Bs Jolan, Shiv and Luke for stepping up at the last minute, they certainly didn't look out of place. Thanks also to Ali and Chris for helping with transport, and Chris again for umpiring. Good luck to Ian and his team, we hope to repeat the fixture next season.
