Match report Much needed practice match between the under 15s and under 14s.

The 15s got off to a steady start with Divyam batting confidently. The 14s fought back taking quick wickets, to leave the 15s wobbling at 66 for 5 wickets, including Divyam for an excellent 43. Ashane and Tom batted well to help the 15s recover to 131 for 7 in their 20 overs.

The 15s began well with tight bowling from Ashane and Aryan, leaving the under 14s well behind the run rate. A combination of good batting from Kabir, Kailen and Daniel, and some slack bowling and fielding allowed the 14s back into the game, who crossed the finishing line with 2 overs to spare.

Thanks to Gordon and Dilshard for umpiring in increasingly freezing conditions. Special mention for Jack Hissey, who gave up his adult net session to help make up the numbers for the 9 available under 15s, showing true Eastcote team spirit.
