Local derby Eastcote v HSM!!!!

A game played in great spirit with both sides happy to enjoy the very special occasion and cricket be the winner.
Thank you to Lords and MCA for hosting and arranging a once in a lifetime opportunity for most boys to play at the home of cricket.

Eastcote were put in to bat and the first pair of Niyam Shah and Krish Patel scoring 41 runs from 4 overs.
Krish Patel aged 9 played the aggressive role and played shots all round the wicket scoring 22 runs, the best of which was 4 through mid wicket.
HSM bowlers, Shayen Vaid and Mohit both bowled two good overs at the beginning.
The run scoring momentum was carried on by the second pairing of Aaryan Patel and Jay Madan putting on a further 34 runs for the loss of one wicket.At that stage the run rate was almost 10 an over and a huge score was on the cards.
Third pairing of Aaryan Sawant and Pranav Bhatia scored 24 runs, Aaryan hitting three fours.At that point HSM bowlers started to bowl with more discipline and the forth pairing of Rishi Thapar who was playing his second consecutive Final and Vivek Ambasna found hard to score runs.Dot balls were building with Niraan Shah varying his pace intelligently to restrict Eastcote`s last pair to 16 runs.
Special mention for HSM bowler Shayen Vaid who bowl with pace and accuracy returning figures of 3,0,7,1

With three U9s,HSM batsmen found it difficult to score quickly and under pressure lost too many wickets and with every wicket 5 runs were deducted, the Eastcote total proved to be too heavy.Shayen Vaid hit few lusty blows at the end including a 6 over midwicket which he should treasure for a long time.
Between them Eastcote bowlers picked up 16 wickets Pranav,Rishi,Jay,Aaryan P and pick of the bowlers Arav Oodit.
Krish Patel claimed 3 stumpings to go with his 22 runs.
