Our cricket season is now over for this year, thank you all for your support. Chris will be puttting the wickets to 'bed' for the winter from this week. Our thank you to Chris for his hard work getting the ground ready for all the games we had this year, and thank you to David for his assistance, much appreciated.
Going forward the diary will be giving information about events we are putting on, please do come and give your support. Our first event is
The MacMillan Coffee Morning
Saturday 23rd September
9.30am to 11.30am
You do not have to come for the whole two hours, but any time you can give to this worthwhile cause to support people living with cancer will be gratefully appreciated. Last year we raised over £200, lets see if we can make more this year. We will have bacon rolls, homemade cakes, tea, coffee, soft drinks.
The list for the Dinner Dance is up in the foyer, and filling up, maximum numbers at the Golf Club is 120, and it looks like we are half way already, which is great news, so if not already done so, add your name to the list and join us at Northwood Golf Club on Saturday 28th October, the evening starts at 7pm, tickets are £40 18 and over, £35 under 18. Payment can be made to the club account using your name and DD as reference, if you use this method please let one of the social committee know so we can add your name to the list. You can also pay over the bar at the club and your name will be added to the list - if you are making up a table kindly let us know those you wish to sit with. We have two tables that will seat 12, otherwise we can seat 8 to 10 per table, phew... a lot of information, and I probably didn't use enough commas or full stops.
