Weekly News
The club was buzzing at the weekend, great atmosphere on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was our Music Bingo admirably hosted by Lou Hobday, it was such a fun evening, members that came are already requesting another one, where else can you play bingo, have a dance and a singalong, watch this space for the date of the next one.
Sunday was the Cricket 50 over World Cup Final - India v Australia, and the club was very well attended by our India supporters, the atmosphere was lively, and full of fun, thank you to Vineet for organising.
Our next event is our Quiz night on Saturday 2nd December, 7 for 7.30, 8 per team, maximum 8 teams, happy to say that we already have 5 teams on the board, the cost is £8 per person which includes supper.
The AGM is on Tuesday 12th December 7.30pm - the nominations sheet is now up on the noticeboard.
Sunday 17th December is our Children's Christmas Party 4pm to 6pm £10 per child, this includes party food, prizes and presents, and is followed at 6.30 by our Christmas Carols, mince pies, sausage rolls, mulled wine or warm fruit punch
We end the year with our New Years Eve Party Sunday 31st December £5 per ticket which includes a light buffet.
Finally we are pleased to announce that work has started on the refurbishment of our nets as the picture below shows, we'll keep you updated on their progress and send pictures when we can
