To club members who knew Di Webb, the following are the details of her funeral. Di's funeral will take place on Thursday 16th November 1.15pm at Crownhill Crematorium, Milton Keynes, MK8 0AH, Di's brother has informed us that the wearing of black is not necessary.
Well it looks like winter is making its entrance, cold days and even colder nights, but that also means that Christmas isn't far away, and we have a few events on leading up to the big day, do try and come to one if not all of them.
Here are the dates for you, the sign up lists are already on the noticeboard in the club foyer, or if you can't get to the club let Denise, Lou, or Lisa know via email, contact details below. Payment for any event can be made online into the club account, please use your name as reference followed by MB for Music Bingo; QN for Quiz Night; CP for children's party, and NY for New Years Eve, or over the bar at the club.
Saturday 18th November: Music Bingo - 7.30pm a twist on the normal bingo game, songs instead of numbers, and if you know the song you can sing-a-long £8 per person which includes a Ploughmans Supper and prizes, looks to be a fun night
Sunday 19th November: Club open from 8am for the Cricket World Cup Final, the bar will open at the normal time, but we can serve hot drinks and soft drinks till opening time
Saturday 2nd December: Quiz Night 7 for 7.30pm - get a team together, maximum 8 per team, and put your general knowledge to the test, £8 per person which includes a Ploughmans Supper, and prizes.
Sunday 17th December: Children's Christmas Party, 4 to 6pm £10 per child, games, party food, a visit from Father Christmas and presents, lots of fun
Sunday 17th December: Join us to sing a few Christmas Carols, enjoy a glass of mulled wine, or fruit punch, warm mince pies and sausage rolls - 6.30pm
Christmas Day: We are open 12 - 2pm for Christmas Day drinks
New Years Eve: Join us to say farewell to 2023, and welcome in 2024, music,and a light buffet, £5 per person.
