Match report Chess Valley league opener vs South Hamsptead (Away):
ECC with a young and outclassed side competed well against South Hampstead (with mostly Saturday 1s and 2s and their overseas) and were in the game until the last 10 overs of their run chase.

The bowling honours were claimed by Jazib Naeem (3), Ravi Rachakonda (2), Shivam Sangani (2) and Nayan Patel 1 (who bowled 10 good consecutive overs with the new ball.

The batting honours went to Shivam Sangani, Dillan Shah, Vikesh patel & Jazib Naeem.

Two direct hit runouts accounted for Jazib and Shivam and derailed the run chase although Vikesh kept our hopes alive for a bit with Veer Shah.

ECC lost by 42 runs but the lads did ECC proud especially with their bowling and fielding and the mid overs in batting.
